The H Series SNC-HM662 5MP 360° Hemispheric-View Network Mini Dome Camera with Panomorph Lens from Sony, with Hemispheric imaging technology, captures 360° of real-time video with image resolution up to 2560 x 1920. The advanced dewarping technology corrects the distortion of a hemispheric image and displays rectangular images with the video management software (VMS). In addition, it maintains the video quality without incurring image degradation caused by camera-processing limitations during the dewarping process. It features selectable VBR or CBR compression modes to correspond with various network conditions and G711/AAC audio codecs for high-quality recording.
The camera features digital PTZ capabilities that allow you to easily navigate the hemispheric image for rapid-response manipulation. A variety of multiple view modes capable of 360° immersive navigation, including the camera’s original 360° hemispheric view, a 180° panoramic view, and multiple simultaneous views all produced from the same hemispheric image. The camera also features Day/Night function to switch to the day or night mode depending on the light level. It is capable of capturing color images in illumination levels as low as 0.7 lux beyond which it captures B&W images up to 0.3 lux.
