Description

The PS 40-285CL camera series is based on variable camera electronics, low power consumption and advanced circuitry, providing both an extremely rugged design and excellent signal quality.

With this PS 40-285CL the user can choose from a range of high-quality CCD sensors with megapixel resolution by Sony and Kodak. As standard the series comes in a block housing, but for the individual touch it is also available in a striking hexagonal design housing.

The digital Kappa PS 40-285CL cameras comply with the highest standards and offer outstanding Kappa-specific technological highlights, such as rugged design, excellent highly linear signal quality, extraordinary signal-to-noise ratio, long-time exposure and, optionally, a second serial interface with bespoke configuration of functions.

The Kappa’s PS 40-285CL high frame rates are achieved by binning and partial scan, while the image size remains freely adjustable. Kappa DX denotes complete and ready-to-use camera systems, which means the scope of delivery includes not only a camera, but also a data cable, frame grabber, power supply unit and the Kappa CameraControl (KCC) software.

With specific know-how Kappa develops and manufactures rugged cameras for extreme environmental conditions. These environments require thorough resistance to mechanical, climatic and electromagnetic stress, and to surrounding matter and environmental impacts. The extraordinary adaptability, superior durability and outstanding signal quality of our cameras provide the decisive advantage for our customers with certifications according to EN 9100 aviation, MIL-Standards, DO-160 etc. Our particular strength lies combining our competency in industrial production with our ability to understand specific application contexts. This lets us work together with our clients to develop the best solution, and to produce it reliably, efficiently, and with quality assured – be it for 20 or 2000 at a time.
