The SCO-2120R features a 12x optical zoom auto focus lens integrated with the camera in an outdoor enclosure. It comes complete with high performance IR LEDs that allow it to illuminate objects up to 200 ft. away.  At its core is Samsung’s powerful W-V DSP chipset, which includes features such as true Day/Night operation with ICR, progressive scan, and remote control via RS-485 or coaxial cable. Third generation Samsung Super Noise Reduction (SSNRIII) eliminates image noise in low light while capturing clear images in very low-light levels down to 0.2 Lux (without the LEDs). In addition, it is IP66-rated for indoor or outdoor applications and supplied with a mounting bracket for wall, surface or ceiling mount installation

• SSDR (Samsung Super Dynamic Range) - balances the overall brightness by illuminating the darker areas to the same ratio as the bright areas and produce clear images under high-contrast lighting conditions
• 2D/3D filtering noise reduction technology (SSNRIII) - offers color images in dimly-lit areas with reduced noise in the picture, thereby saving storage space
• Day&Night ICR (infrared cut filter removal) function - switches between color and B&W as per changes in ambient lighting, ensuring accurate color reproduction in daylight and enhanced B&W images at night
• Automatic gain control - adjusts the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level
• Auto white balance - adjusts the red and blue signals by taking a standard white color reference to get the most natural colors
• DIS (Digital Image Stabilization) - offers steady pictures by compensating for any camera movement caused by external stimuli
• Motion detection function - detects motion without any additional external sensor
• Privacy masking allows you to mask up to 12 user programmable zones of a scene for privacy reasons
