IEEE 1394b allows for data transfer rates up to 800 Mbps while maintaining signal integrity.  The combination of a high flex cable, durable overmolded strain reliefs, and thumbscrew locking delivers reliable performance in the most demanding applications.  Beta cables interface between 1394b equipment while bilingual cables interface 1394b to 1394a. Both versions are available.
