Description
The SDS-P4082 8-Channel 500GB HDD DVR with Eight Day/Night Cameras from Samsung gives you the basic components for setting up a comprehensive analog surveillance system. A 500GB HDD comes installed, and an eSATA port on the back enables memory expansion or high-speed backup. Four audio-in channels can accept input from microphone-equipped cameras or external mics, while a single audio-out channel lets you wire an external speaker. HDMI and VGA ports provide simultaneous outputs for more monitoring options. The system utilizes H.264 video compression for efficient bandwidth usage that enables smooth live-view streaming over the Internet. Multiple recording options allow you to tailor the surveillance system to your needs.
To go with the DVR are eight cameras. Each camera has a 1/3″ CMOS image sensor with a 3.8mm, f/2.0 fixed lens to capture video in up to 720TVL resolution. The housing is IP66 rated to be dust and weatherproof for outdoor installation. 28 IR LEDs provide a night vision range of up to 82′ for day and night coverage. Each camera comes with 60′ of pre-terminated video cable to assist with installation.
