IDS Imaging : GV-51L0CP Rev.2.2
Description
The compact 12.42 MP industrial camera GV-51L0CP Rev.2.2 with GigE interface features the 1/1.1″ Sony CMOS image sensor IMX545 from the Sony Pregius S series. This fourth-generation sensor combines Global Shutter with BSI technology (Backside Illumination). Another special characteristic are the pixels, which are only 2.74 µm in size and therefore enable a significantly higher pixel density. As a result, the sensor is around 20 per cent smaller diagonally than second-generation Sony Pregius sensors with the same resolution. Users therefore benefit from outstanding image quality that makes even demanding machine vision applications easily feasible.
The industrial camera (4128 x 3008 px px) delivers 10.0 fps. At the same time, it is fully compliant with the Vision Standard and can therefore be comfortably used with our IDS peak SDK.
The uEye+ CP camera is available as a monochrome or color version.

Applications
Electronics inspection
Cameras can check the geometry of printed circuit boards, detect the presence and absence of components as well as dirt and inspect solder joints.
Logistics
Cameras are indispensable in the logistics sector - e.g. for (de-)palletizing tasks, sorting tasks or in autonomous vehicles.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Mechanical engineering
From inspection on the production line to controlling entire systems - camera technology helps to ensure smooth processes.
Process control
Cameras check the material supply in the process and are used e.g. for the intermediate and final inspection of products.
Small device construction
Compact and powerful - IDS cameras can be easily integrated into small devices such as handheld scanners or other portable systems.
