IDS Imaging : GV-5260CP Rev.2.2
Description
The GigE Vision camera GV-5260CP Rev.2.2 is equipped with budget-priced 2.30 MP CMOS sensor Sony IMX249 that sets new standards in terms of light sensitivity, dynamic range and color reproduction. The GigE industrial camera provides excellent image quality with extraordinarily low-noise performance – at frame rates up to 46.0 fps (full resolution: 1920 x 1200 px px). The sensor is perfect for applications demanding excellent image quality even in low-light conditions e.g. in ITS and in quality assurance.

Applications
Endless web inspection
Whether steel, paper or fabrics - IDS cameras always keep an eye on their test object and detect, for example, material defects or stains.
Food & beverage
To ensure the highest food quality - camera technology e.g. detects contaminants and helps with sorting tasks and fill level monitoring.
Inspection applications
IDS cameras can be used to check for completeness or material defects and to detect defects or bar/matrix codes.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Medical technology (and laboratory automation)
Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.
Pharma and healthcare
By using cameras, it is possible to check e.g. whether packaging is correctly filled and printed or whether there are any impurities.
Process control
Cameras check the material supply in the process and are used e.g. for the intermediate and final inspection of products.
Quality assurance
IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.
Traffic and transport (ITS)
Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.
Visualisation
Recognize details more accurately - for example, by displaying close-up images on monitors.
