IDS Imaging : GV-5990CP Rev.2.2
Description
Large format 1.1″ CMOS Global Shutter sensor in a compact industrial camera measuring just 29 x 29 x 29 mm: the GV-5990CP Rev.2.2delivers impressive 20.36 MP. Thanks to the powerful, extremely high-resolution IMX541 sensor from the Pregius S series – a fourth-generation Sony sensor – customers benefit from outstanding image quality. This is due to the integrated BSI technology (“Back Side Illuminated”) on the one hand, and the remarkably small pixel size of only 2.74 µm on the other, which results in an exceptionally high pixel density.
The light-sensitive GigE camera delivers fast 5.5 fps, which leaves nothing to be desired even in demanding machine vision applications such as surface inspections, detailed image evaluations in medical technology or use in the traffic sector.
The model is a sensible alternative to cameras with similarly high-resolution but larger sensors, for which F-mount lenses are usually required. Here, C-mount lenses can be used – which results in a considerable cost saving.
The GV-5990CP Rev.2.2 is available in both monochrome and color versions. We recommend using it in combination with our versatile IDS peak SDK.
