IDS Imaging : U3-3060CP Rev.2.2
Description
The U3-3060CP Rev.2.2 with the 2.30 MP Sony IMX174 (1920 x 1200 px px) sensor sets new standards in terms of light sensitivity, dynamic range and color reproduction. The USB 3 industrial camera provides excellent image quality and is extremely low-noise – at a frame rate of 161 fps. With its 5.86 µm pixels, the global shutter CMOS sensor of the first Pregius generation from Sony is predestined for applications that are supposed to deliver perfect results even in low light conditions, as well as in automation, quality assurance and robotics.Additional camera features include long exposure up to 60.0 s and line scan mode.
The U3-3060CP Rev.2.2 is available in both monochrome and color variants.
This camera model is supported by IDS Vision firmware 2.20 and higher.

Applications
Biotechnology and life sciences
Image processing can be used, for example, to analyze living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Process control
Cameras check the material supply in the process and are used e.g. for the intermediate and final inspection of products.
Quality assurance
IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.
Robotics
With IDS cameras, robots learn to "see" - this enables applications such as bin picking or (de-)palletizing.
Visualisation
Recognize details more accurately - for example, by displaying close-up images on monitors.
