IDS Imaging : U3-30C0CP Rev.2.2
Description
The U3-30C0CP Rev.2.2 industrial camera with USB3 interface (SuperSpeed USB, 5 Gpbs) and the light-sensitive global shutter CMOS sensor IMX392 from the second generation of the Sony Pregius series offers a resolution of 2.35 MP (1936 x 1216 px px, pixel size 3.45µm). With up to 166 fps and Full HD, it is perfect for high-speed applications, for example in automation or quality assurance. Furthermore, the sensor is predestined for tasks that require a perfect result even in low-light conditions.
The U3-30C0CP Rev.2.2 is an all-rounder in the class of 2 MP global shutter industrial cameras and provides excellent image quality thanks to its enormous sensitivity, high dynamic range and low noise. Thanks to these characteristics, it finds its place in virtually any application. The camera is available in both monochrome and colour versions. The small sensor format with a diagonal of 7.9 mm allows a wide choice of low-cost lenses.

Applications
Inspection applications
IDS cameras can be used to check for completeness or material defects and to detect defects or bar/matrix codes.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Mechanical engineering
From inspection on the production line to controlling entire systems - camera technology helps to ensure smooth processes.
Metrology
IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.
Process control
Cameras check the material supply in the process and are used e.g. for the intermediate and final inspection of products.
Visualisation
Recognize details more accurately - for example, by displaying close-up images on monitors.
