IDS Imaging : U3-3180CP Rev. 2.2
Description
The USB3 industrial camera U3-3180CP Rev. 2.2 with 1″ global shutter CMOS sensor PYTHON 5000 from onsemi can switch the full resolution of 2592 x 2048 px (5.31 MP, up to 73.0 fps) to the square 2K x 2K format to achieve higher frame rates. The unique AOI (horizontal and vertical readout) function enables the industrial camera to achieve exceptionally high frame rates.
The uEye+ CP camera is particularly suitable for microscopy applications and visualisation tasks. Available as monochrome or colour version.

Applications
Inspection applications
IDS cameras can be used to check for completeness or material defects and to detect defects or bar/matrix codes.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Medical technology (and laboratory automation)
Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.
Object tracking
Whether in sports, on the production line or in research projects - IDS cameras keep a close eye on objects.
Quality assurance
IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.
Visualisation
Recognize details more accurately - for example, by displaying close-up images on monitors.
