IDS Imaging : U3-31L0CP Rev.2.2
Description
The compact 12.42 MP industrial camera U3-31L0CP Rev.2.2 is equipped with the 1/1.1″ Sony CMOS image sensor IMX545 from the Pregius S series. This fourth generation sensor is characterized by the combination of Global Shutter and BSI technology. Another distinguishing characteristic are the pixels, which are only 2.74 µm in size and provide a significantly higher pixel density. This means that the sensor is about 20 per cent smaller diagonally than second-generation Sony Pregius sensors of the same resolution. Users benefit from outstanding image quality that makes even demanding machine vision applications easily possible.
The industrial camera delivers 32.0 fps. Thanks to its USB3 vision interface, it is fully compliant to the Vision Standard and can therefore be conveniently used with our IDS peak SDK.
The uEye+ CP camera is available as a monochrome or color version.

Applications
Electronics inspection
Cameras can check the geometry of printed circuit boards, detect the presence and absence of components as well as dirt and inspect solder joints.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Metrology
IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.
Photovoltaics / solar cell inspection
IDS cameras can be used, for example, to check geometry and saw marks and to identify defects.
Surface inspection
IDS cameras detect cracks, irregularities or other processing defects in optical quality assurance.
Traffic and transport (ITS)
Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.
