IDS Imaging : U3-3260CP Rev.2.2
Description
The U3-3260CP Rev.2.2 with the cost-effective 2.30 MP Sony IMX249 (1920 x 1200 px px) sensor sets new standards in terms of light sensitivity, dynamic range and color reproduction – just like its “big brother” IMX174. The USB 3 industrial camera provides excellent image quality and is extremely low-noise – at a frame rate of 47.0 fps. With its 5.86 µm pixels, the global shutter CMOS sensor of the first Pregius generation from Sony is predestined for applications that are supposed to deliver perfect results even in low light conditions, as well as in automation, quality assurance and robotics.Additional camera features include long exposure up to 90.0 s and line scan mode.
The U3-3260CP Rev.2.2 is available in both monochrome and color variants.
This camera model is supported by IDS Vision firmware 2.20 and higher.

Applications
Endless web inspection
Whether steel, paper or fabrics - IDS cameras always keep an eye on their test object and detect, for example, material defects or stains.
Food & beverage
To ensure the highest food quality - camera technology e.g. detects contaminants and helps with sorting tasks and fill level monitoring.
Inspection applications
IDS cameras can be used to check for completeness or material defects and to detect defects or bar/matrix codes.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Medical technology (and laboratory automation)
Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.
Pharma and healthcare
By using cameras, it is possible to check e.g. whether packaging is correctly filled and printed or whether there are any impurities.
Process control
Cameras check the material supply in the process and are used e.g. for the intermediate and final inspection of products.
Quality assurance
IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.
Traffic and transport (ITS)
Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.
Visualisation
Recognize details more accurately - for example, by displaying close-up images on monitors.
