IDS Imaging : U3-3280CP Rev.2.2
Description
The USB3 Vision industrial camera U3-3280CP Rev.2.2 with the CMOS sensor IMX264 from Sony sets new standards in terms of light sensitivity, dynamic range and color reproduction. The global shutter sensor from the Pregius series excels with a high resolution of 5.01 MP (2448 x 2048 px px), which is perfect for applications in low light conditions as well as in microscopy. The USB3 Vision industrial camera provides excellent image quality and is extremely low-noise – at a frame rate of 36.0 fps.Software features implemented by IDS: Linescan mode, long-time exposure up to90.0 s.
The U3-3280CP Rev.2.2 is available in both monochrome and color variants.
This camera model is supported by IDS Vision firmware 2.20 and higher.

Applications
Biotechnology and life sciences
Image processing can be used, for example, to analyze living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.
Electronics inspection
Cameras can check the geometry of printed circuit boards, detect the presence and absence of components as well as dirt and inspect solder joints.
Endless web inspection
Whether steel, paper or fabrics - IDS cameras always keep an eye on their test object and detect, for example, material defects or stains.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Mechanical engineering
From inspection on the production line to controlling entire systems - camera technology helps to ensure smooth processes.
Medical technology (and laboratory automation)
Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.
Pharma and healthcare
By using cameras, it is possible to check e.g. whether packaging is correctly filled and printed or whether there are any impurities.
Surface inspection
IDS cameras detect cracks, irregularities or other processing defects in optical quality assurance.
Traffic and transport (ITS)
Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.
