IDS Imaging : UI-3040CP Rev. 2
Description
The UI-3040CP with the global shutter CMOS sensor Sony IMX273 achieves impressive 243 fps with a resolution of 1.57 MP at 3.45 pixel size. This makes it ideal for classic industrial applications such as surface inspection, but also for detailed image analysis in medical technology and traffic applications. The camera enables 4x multi AOI and long exposure up to 30 seconds – for applications in the fields of mechanical engineering, machine vision, measuring technology, medical technology or microscopy. The industrial camera model UI-3040CP is directed at customers with high demands on image quality, dynamic range and sensitivity.

Applications
Endless web inspection
Whether steel, paper or fabrics - IDS cameras always keep an eye on their test object and detect, for example, material defects or stains.
Logistics
Cameras are indispensable in the logistics sector - e.g. for (de-)palletizing tasks, sorting tasks or in autonomous vehicles.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Metrology
IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.
Sports and motion analysis
Image data can be used for match analyses or to optimize motion patterns, such as golf swings or cycling.
Surface inspection
IDS cameras detect cracks, irregularities or other processing defects in optical quality assurance.
