IDS Imaging : UI-3270CP Rev. 2
Description
The USB 3 industrial camera UI-3270CP with 1/1.8″ Sony IMX265 global shutter CMOS sensor provides a resolution of 3.2 MP (2056 x 1542 px). At full resolution, the USB 3 camera delivers up to 57 fps (Full HD with up to 80 fps). As the Sony IMX265 claims to be the best CMOS imaging sensor of the 3 MP pixel class, the industrial camera aims at customers with high demands on image quality, dynamic range and sensitivity. The UI-3270CP camera model is suitable especially for cost-effective applications in the fields of mechanical engineering, machine vision, metrology, medical engineering, or microscopy.

Applications
Biotechnology and life sciences
Image processing can be used, for example, to analyze living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.
Electronics inspection
Cameras can check the geometry of printed circuit boards, detect the presence and absence of components as well as dirt and inspect solder joints.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Mechanical engineering
From inspection on the production line to controlling entire systems - camera technology helps to ensure smooth processes.
Medical technology (and laboratory automation)
Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.
Metrology
IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.
Pharma and healthcare
By using cameras, it is possible to check e.g. whether packaging is correctly filled and printed or whether there are any impurities.
Traffic and transport (ITS)
Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.
