IDS Imaging : UI-3280CP Rev. 2
Description
The UI-3280CP with Sony’s 5 MP sensor IMX264 (2456 x 2054 px) sets a new standard in terms of light sensitivity, dynamic range and color reproduction. The USB 3 industrial camera provides excellent image quality with extraordinarily low-noise performance – at frame rates up to 36 fps. The global shutter CMOS sensor Sony IMX264 provides high resolution of 5 MP, which is perfectly suitable for applications under low-light conditions and in microscopy.

Applications
Biotechnology and life sciences
Image processing can be used, for example, to analyze living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.
Electronics inspection
Cameras can check the geometry of printed circuit boards, detect the presence and absence of components as well as dirt and inspect solder joints.
Endless web inspection
Whether steel, paper or fabrics - IDS cameras always keep an eye on their test object and detect, for example, material defects or stains.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Mechanical engineering
From inspection on the production line to controlling entire systems - camera technology helps to ensure smooth processes.
Medical technology (and laboratory automation)
Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.
Pharma and healthcare
By using cameras, it is possible to check e.g. whether packaging is correctly filled and printed or whether there are any impurities.
Surface inspection
IDS cameras detect cracks, irregularities or other processing defects in optical quality assurance.
Traffic and transport (ITS)
Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.
