IDS Imaging : UI-3880CP Rev. 2

Description

The USB 3 industrial camera UI-3880CP with 1/1.8″ rolling shutter Sony IMX178 CMOS sensor provides very high resolution of 6.4 MP (3088 x 2076 px), which makes it especially perfect for visualization tasks in microscopy, and a cost-driven option for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). The BSI sensor of Sony’s STARVIS series is one of the most light-sensitive sensors in our portfolio, offering an amazing image quality even in low-light conditions. In combination with our USB 3 industrial cameras, the Sony IMX178 sensor delivers frame rates up to 58 fps at full resolution. Due to its 1/1.8″ sensor format, a wide range of C-Mount lenses for the UI-3880CP USB camera model will be available.

Applications

Astronomy

Reach for the stars with IDS cameras - image processing shows information that is difficult or impossible for humans to grasp.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Metrology

IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.

Traffic and transport (ITS)

Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.
