IDS Imaging : UI-5040CP Rev. 2.2

Description

For excellent image quality even in low light scenarios or when the camera should take pictures of fast-moving objects: The IMX273 global shutter CMOS sensor from Sony’s Pregius series is characterised by its sensitivity and high dynamic range. The resolution of the sensor is 1.57 MP (1448 x 1086 px pixels) with a pixel size of 3.45 µm, its frame rate is 73.0 fps. The UI-5040CP Rev. 2.2 can thus be used, for example, in safety technology for detailed evaluations in the area of quality assurance or for traffic monitoring and license plate recognition.

Applications

Endless web inspection

Whether steel, paper or fabrics - IDS cameras always keep an eye on their test object and detect, for example, material defects or stains.

Logistics

Cameras are indispensable in the logistics sector - e.g. for (de-)palletizing tasks, sorting tasks or in autonomous vehicles.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Metrology

IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.

Sports and motion analysis

Image data can be used for match analyses or to optimize motion patterns, such as golf swings or cycling.

Surface inspection

IDS cameras detect cracks, irregularities or other processing defects in optical quality assurance.
