IDS Imaging : GV-51J0FA Rev.1.2
Description
Sturdy thanks to IP65/67, convenient GigE interface, square fourth-generation Sony sensor: the 8.13 MP (2856 x 2848 px px) industrial camera GV-51J0FA Rev.1.2 achieves 15.0 fps and is perfectly suited for demanding industrial applications. As part of the Sony Pregius S series, customers also benefit from the combination of Global Shutter and BSI (backside illumination) technology. The small pixel size of just 2.74 µm ensures a high pixel density, making the most of the available area of the 2/3″ CMOS sensor (aspect ratio of 1:1). This ensures excellent image quality even in changing light conditions.
The industrial camera is fully compliant with the Vision Standard and can therefore be used perfectly with our IDS peak SDK.
The uEye+ FA camera is available as a monochrome or color version.

Applications
Electronics inspection
Cameras can check the geometry of printed circuit boards, detect the presence and absence of components as well as dirt and inspect solder joints.
Factory / process automation
Cameras are used in monitoring, control, regulation and optimization systems and help e.g. with localization and selection tasks.
Food & beverage
To ensure the highest food quality - camera technology e.g. detects contaminants and helps with sorting tasks and fill level monitoring.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Mechanical engineering
From inspection on the production line to controlling entire systems - camera technology helps to ensure smooth processes.
Process control
Cameras check the material supply in the process and are used e.g. for the intermediate and final inspection of products.
