IDS Imaging : U3-36P0XCP Rev.1.2
Description
Small camera, mighty resolution – thanks to the 19.80 MP AR2020 sensor from onsemi, users benefit from 5K UHD with impressive 5136 x 3856 px pixels. The 1/1.8″ Rolling Shutter sensor (aspect ratio 4:3) therefore recognizes even fine details, for example in surface inspection.
We offer the sensor not only in color, but also as a monochrome version. This benefits low-light applications in industry or tasks such as microscopy, where even more sensitivity is required. Also, if you are looking for a technical successor to the popular 18 MP sensor AR1820 from onsemi, you have come to the right place.
The U3-36P0XCP Rev.1.2 industrial camera achieves 14.4 fps at full resolution and a live video-capable 27 fps in FHD mode with 1920 x 1080 pixels. It has a screw-type USB3 interface and a convenient C-mount lens connector. On the software side, it is supported by the IDS peak software development kit – this simplifies the implementation and use of the compact camera.
Please note: If you choose a model without filter glass (monochrome sensor, matchcode component “-NO”), make sure that no dust or other particles get onto the sensor during set-up and use.

Applications

Biotechnology and life sciences
Image processing can be used, for example, to analyze living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.

Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)
Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Quality assurance
IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.

Small device construction
Compact and powerful - IDS cameras can be easily integrated into small devices such as handheld scanners or other portable systems.

Surface inspection
IDS cameras detect cracks, irregularities or other processing defects in optical quality assurance.
