IDS Imaging : GV-5800FA Rev.1.2
Description
Exceptionally high-resolution images with low noise levels ensure the capture of even smallest details: the light-sensitive IMX183 Rolling Shutter CMOS Sensor from Sony’s STARVIS series provides outstanding image quality even under low light conditions thanks to its BSI technology (“back-side-illumination”). With a resolution of 20.44 MP (5536 x 3692 px) at 2.4 µm pixels, it delivers 6.0 fps in the GigE Vision industrial cameraGV-5800FA Rev.1.2. The camera is therefore ideally suited for complex image analysis in applications such as surface and display inspections, medical technology or traffic applications.
The GV-5800FA is available in monochrome or colour.
This camera model is supported by IDS Vision firmware 2.10 and higher.

Applications
Astronomy
Reach for the stars with IDS cameras - image processing shows information that is difficult or impossible for humans to grasp.
Factory / process automation
Cameras are used in monitoring, control, regulation and optimization systems and help e.g. with localization and selection tasks.
Machine vision
Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.
Medical technology (and laboratory automation)
Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.
Metrology
IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.
Traffic and transport (ITS)
Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.
