Description
The MVP-MTM-000-A307 MTM-V2 320×240 Mini Thermal Monocular from Morovision is a multi-purpose thermal imaging device that features a weather-sealed housing and ergonomic button layout designed for user-friendly handheld viewing. By analyzing the heat signature within view, a thermal imager can produce an image regardless of the lighting condition. Indoors and outdoors—day and night—the MTM can see through fog, smoke, and heavy rain to reveal objects not visible even in a well-lit area. This model of the MTM is configured with a USB port and an eye safe infrared aiming laser that is factory-aligned with the monocular’s reticle, making it a suitable option for targeted evidence gathering and surveillance.
Combined with 2x digital zoom and image optimization functions like selectable polarity modes and manual scene calibration, the MTM-V2 has an f/1.05 lens system and 18″ close focus distance that equips it for close to mid-range observations. In addition to the MTM’s fast optics and functionality, this monocular weighs only 11.5 oz and is nearly silent during operation. The MTM-V2 is built to perform in driving rain and freezing temperatures, and it has an anodized finish to resist corrosion and scratching. This thermal monocular comes with a carrying case, video/data transfer cable, and a one-year warranty from the manufacturer.
