Video and Audio Systems for Broadcast Post-Production, and Professional Video

Description

The For-A FVW-500HS is a video writer system that enables freehand drawing and positioning of objects and image files over video. The FVW-500HS is ideal not only for replay commentary in sports broadcasts, weather forecasts, and news programs, but also provides the ultimate in freehand tools for creating educational materials and usage in various medical venues.

Features

FVW-500HS features include:

  • Freely Assignable Custom Buttons
  • The drawing tool and background buttons positioned on the main screen are all freely assignable. The drawing tools include function buttons for line, spotlight, circle, object, and movie. All buttons can be freely positioned at the top of the screen and can also be saved with preset colors, shapes, and other options. The buttons can also be freely position at the bottom of the screen in the same way as the drawing tools.
  • Straight Line, Circle, and Freehand Drawing
  • Creating straight lines and circles, as well as simply freehand drawing is all possible. Multiple tools can be saved as buttons. To draw, users simply select a desired button with their finger and go. Drawn lines are saved as a separate layer, allowing each object to be handled individually; move and delete individual objects in seconds.
  • Spotlight Effects
  • A spotlight effect can be used to emphasize a section of video. The spotlight button is saved for use as a drawing tool. The size, border, blurring, mask color and other parameters can be set for the spotlight effect.
  • Paste Still Images
  • In addition to basic annotation, image files can also be positioned on the screen as objects. In the same way as other tools, the object tool can be saved and used as a button. The size of an object image can be adjusted freely on the setting screen. To paste an image, simply select the tool button and place the image in the desired position by clicking with the mouse or finger in the drawing area.
  • Paste Movie Files
  • The placement of still objects, animations, and sequentially-numbered files can be stored as an object. All the sequentially numbered files are converted into a movie file for use. Operations such as moving and deleting are possible as well. The function can be very useful for drawing attention to certain objects, such as when selecting news items.
  • DSK On/Off Function
  • The included DSK ON/OFF function allows drawn content to be held in cue. With this function, it's possible to make annotations without viewers seeing. When you're finished, just turn DSK on.
  • Key Output
  • The unit is equipped with separate key output. The pre-composition video can be output separately as fill key videos; this enables importing to broadcasting systems with a video switcher.
