Description
The FLIR Blackfly S BFS-PGE-70S7C-C combines the newest CMOS image sensors with our new and intuitive Spinnaker software development kit. The many new advanced camera features are designed to meet your complex imaging needs and speed up development time.
The BFS-PGE-70S7C-C features a 7.1 MP, 1.1″ IMX428 Third Generation Sony Pregius global shutter CMOS sensor. With its new 4.5 µm pixels, these sensors deliver the high saturation capacity and dynamic range while maintaining the low read-noise Sony Pregius is known for. The 4.5 µm pixel size balances the saturation capacity of the Pregius Generation 1 sensors and the 5.86 µm pixel and the resolution of the 3.45 µm pixel with Pregius Generation 2 sensors.
There is a new conversion gain switching feature enabling you to select between high conversion gain for maximum sensitivity and minimum read noise in low light, and low conversion gain for greatly increased saturation capacity and higher dynamic range under bright light.
• The IMX428’s high frame rate, global shutter, and HD resolution are ideal for high-throughput inspection
• NIR sensitivity is ideal for inspection of polymer and semiconductor parts as well as fruit sorting
• High saturation capacity, quantum efficiency, and low read noise will serve high resolution microscopy and biomedical applications well
• The IMX428 has a similar optical format and pixel size as the ICX694 but faster and with improvements in absolute sensitivity threshold, read noise, quantum efficiency, and dynamic range
