Description
The MVP-PVS7P5 Ultra 5X 135mm Catadioptric Lens Biocular from Morovision features a 3rd generation Pinnacle intensifier tube from ITT, and a high-powered catadioptric objective lens. This NVD can be used hand-held or mounted to a tripod for long-term observation applications.
Boasting a remarkable 5.1x level of magnification, the MVP-PVS7P5 Ultra is an excellent long-range observation tool in low/no-light conditions. The fast f/1.6 catadioptric lens provides excellent optical performance with a low incidence of chromatic aberration, and enhanced performance across the extended (450-910 nm) operating range.

- ITT's "Pinnacle" third generation night vision intensifier tube lives up to its name by being the best there is in the world of image intensifiers. The Pinnacle tube is the US Army's first choice for night vision technology under the Omni VI procurement contract.
- Pinnacle tubes feature a thin-film ion barrier on the MCP, and a gallium-arsenide coated photocathode. The power supply was reconfigured with an auto-gating circuit that significantly enhances the tube's response to dynamic lighting conditions.
- Compared to standard third generation technology, Pinnacle tubes deliver 22% higher photoresponse, a typical S/N ratio of 26, a significant reduction in halo diameter, 20% greater range of vision at night, 10,000+ hours of tube life.
